Neverfail Heartbeat is the powerful core technology at the center of every Neverfail solution. By replicating data from an active server to a passive server through a unique cloning process, Neverfail Heartbeat enables Neverfail products to provide a comprehensive high availability solution for disaster recovery, business continuity and continuous data protection.

Neverfail solutions also ensure that users stay connected to applications during IT activities that require planned downtime, such as migrations, upgrades, maintenance, and server consolidation (virtualization).

A unique architecture for true high availability
Most clustering solutions only address certain types of failures. Other back-up and replication offerings focus only on recovering hardware and data failures from a primary server.

In contrast, the Neverfail Heartbeat architecture is unique in providing:

• The first high availability solution to focus on the entire application environment, regardless of the type or source of disruption

Neverfail provides “out of the box” application protection solutions for Microsoft® Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, File Server, and IIS, as well as RIM BlackBerry®, and IBM® Lotus® Domino®. Neverfail also protects auxiliary applications such as anti-virus, back-up, fax and archiving through the Neverfail Application Module eXtension or AMX.
